I'm waking up to ash and dust I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust I'm breathing in the chemicals I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus This is it, the apocalypse CHARACTER'S FULL NAME;; Anthony Kristopher Karlsson AGE;; 33 DATE OF BIRTH;; June 6, 1980. OCCUPATION;; Detective for the PCPD; formerly with the Armed Special Forces PLAYED BY;; Wentworth Miller FAMILY;; Andrew Karlsson (father, dead) and Sasha Donaldson (mother, dead) PERSONALITY;; Anthony is a very private individual but mostly that is a result of his upbringing and training in the forces, so he doesn't have very much to share. He is a go getter and his determination and drive easily leave others eating the dust in his wake. He's quick and efficient and for him survival is everything, so relationships aren't very high on his list of priorities. Anthony's downfall however are his tempers. It isn't easy to set him off but sometimes certain things will leave him seeing red. A word of advice? don't be one of those things. HISTORY;; Anthony was born on a military base near Moscow where his parents were stationed. His father Andrew dealt in special forces, a career his son later followed in. His mother was a nurse. The two met in a classic military love story that ended tragically. A bombing outside of one of the many cathedrals in Moscow left them dead while their young son was looked after by a close friend back at the base. News of their deaths led to a radical change in the life of the young boy. With the military base being no life for him he was shipped to a nearby orphanage. For the most part he was raised with other boys his age and although he had dual citizenship, he was eventually transferred overseas where he was swallowed up the child care system. Until his 18th birthday Anthony moves from group home to group home. His grades in school were average but the fact that he was prone to fights in school led his guidance counselors to suggest his enrolling in the military. As soon as Anthony graduated from college he did just that and eventually made it to the special forces just like his father before him. When Anthony was 30 he met a girl while on assignment in Europe. He knew that Amber was the one as soon as they met. Even though she wasn't American he planned to marry her and bring her back to the States to live. But before they could be married she was abducted and was later found dead. Although no clues were found to implicate her murderer, Anthony knew who it was and was determined to seek his revenge. Anthony followed his girlfriends killer to New York but lost track of him in the months that followed. He was released from the special forces and has since signed up for the police force. He's moves from city to city tracking and hoping that another clue will surface to finding Amber's killer. Now arriving in Port Charles as a last resort, Anthony hopes that the rumors hes heard about the city will help him in finally ending this cat and mouse chase. Anthony transfers to the PCPD and hopes to use his job as a detective to find out as much as he can about the goings on in the city and maybe reveal any clues as to where Ambers murderer might have gone. RP SAMPLE;; I walk up the front steps to the PCPD carrying my duffle over my shoulder. It is the only belongings I have and all I really need. I've never stayed in one place for very long and I don't plan on staying here much longer either. In fact, as soon as I finish what I've been trying to do, I'm gone. I don't know where but at one point it might be nice to plan on going back to Russia. The diaries my mother kept told me of her love of the place despite being an American and besides, I've been harboring this suspicion that there is more to Amber's death that I've originally thought. Only one way to find out. The room I've gotten over Kelly's isn't among some of the finest I've seen during my travels but the woman that runs the place, Rose I think her name was, was nice enough and the entire place smelled of a home cooked meal and hot coffee. Not much more a guy can ask for. As homey as the place felt though I wasn't prepared to leave my duffle behind, so I hike it up higher on my shoulder as I enter the building. It is like most typical police stations I've been to over the years with a lobby and the pen just beyond that. I can see what might be the interrogation rooms and assume that the holding cells are somewhere close by but I don't have time for the grand tour just yet. I plaster a smile on my face and walk up to the desk in the lobby and wait for the receptionist to recognize me. When she finally does, I give her my name and hand over my paperwork while I wait to meet the Commissioner. Rumor has it shes a woman. I won't roll my eyes at that one, but seriously what are the men in this town thinking to let a woman do a mans job? I clench my jaw and continue to smile at the receptionist and take my paperwork back as she points to a room off the hallway. The Commissioner's office is at the end of the hall there. I'll be sure to let her know you're on your way. "You do that," I tell her and soften my remark with another smile and a wink. I pick up my bag, grunt a little under the weight of clothes, papers and assorted stuff and make my way down the hall while my eyes are glued to the people working in the pen. There aren't many of them and it makes me wonder if they are all out on duty of if the riff raff in this town has slowly killed them all off. I have a feeling it'll be interesting to find out.
